New Mexico Orthopaedics wants you to know that safety of our patients and staff are our highest importance. We want to ensure you that we are keeping abreast of the current COVID-19 recommendations from the World Health Organization, the CDC and the New Mexico Department of Health. This is a very fluid situation and we will update this situation as new information becomes available. To ensure your health we have implemented many procedures and policies that we wanted to make you aware of;
We have implemented more stringent cleaning procedures to help combat the spread of the COVID-19 virus as well as other bacteria and viruses.
We are asking that all patients that are exhibiting signs of fever, shortness of breath and/or cough to please reschedule their office visits. If you need to be seen we are asking that you contact New Mexico Orthopaedics so that arrangements can be made to safely provide care. For questions on what to do if you are ill or about the COVID-19 viruses please follow the link to the CDC website.
In line with CDC recommendations we are asking that if you have a routine office visit that can safely be rescheduled that you do so.
We are asking patients to come alone to their office visit. We will limit visitors to one person. Please consider not bringing visitors who have significant medical issues, in a high-risk group and/or who are elderly. Follow this link.
We are asking that patient and visitors spread out throughout the waiting room so that they are at least six feet apart from other patients. We are currently in the process of rescheduling all of our clinics to decrease the number of patients seen at one time. To further decrease the flow of people in the clinic we are allowing certain employees to work from home.
If you have travelled outside the continental United States in the last 28 days, have had close contact with someone diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus or been notified by any health agency that you were possibly exposed to the COVID-19 virus that you be cleared prior to arriving in the clinic. This may mean that you may need to be tested for the COVID-19 virus.
We appreciate your understanding. We will continue to update our website as new information becomes available. Please reach out to us if you have any questions. Call or Text 505 724-4300 or e-mail email@example.com
